Life is all about connecting and giving thanks. The purpose of this page is to express gratitude for the good we have been given that is all around us. To share insights on how to come from the heart with gratitude and peace while praising my Savior, Jesus Christ.

​​Did You Know...giving thanks is good for your overall health and wellness. Not only does it boost brain capacity, but it also provides an increased sense of well-being. As you practice gratitude, anxiety and depression risks decrease, freeing up your ability to focus on the most important memories and loved ones. Gratitude can also affect the brain by releasing more positive neurotransmitters and lessening the stress hormone.

Gratitude Post: Love One Another

I am grateful for those who express love with forgiveness and understanding in their hearts. Taking this stance can be challenging to show Jesus’ love in different situations.

The Apostle Paul did his best to adapt to different cultures. He endured extreme situations, rejection, beatings, imprisonments, and more. Yet he was motivated by an encounter with Jesus, one that led him to take up his cross and endure as he spread the gospel throughout the rest of the known world. While we may not face similar dangers, we are called to share our faith with others.

And so, we ask, what would happen if we stood in our truth, answer our calling, stepped out in faith? One way is to be there for others in their times of need, engage in conversations and show them what it means to be a follower of Christ. Another, serve the needy, sick and vulnerable; wash their feet, so to speak.

Yes, it means everything when we show them how Jesus loved. Then, as Pastor Charles Stanley tells us, the world will know we are His. And it is how they will know Him.

John 13:34 “I’m giving you a new commandment: Love each other in the same way that I have loved you.”

Gratitude Post: A Godly Relationship

I am grateful that God created a covenant of love with us that builds on His laws. And that He made it possible for us to know Him better through His Son, offered as an atonement for all our sins. It's not about perfection or worthiness, just belief, and trust. When we accept Him, we find love instead of condemning judgment. When we mess up, we can seek His forgiveness and start over. Isn't it wonderful that God's love knows no limits?
My pastor has been teaching a series on the joy of our Father God. It is wonderful to learn that He is delighted with His children. And when I think about it, I realize that Father loves us far more than we can comprehend; that He is with us in good times and bad, guiding our footsteps, and lighting our paths, therefore, we have no need to worry or fear.
Going deeper, I realize how fortunate we are to have a God who sees us for who we are and is pleased with what He sees. Knowing this offers us a way to develop a deeper relationship with Him, one that assures us that God is for us, strengthening our decisions, answering our prayers.
Romans 8:38 “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces.”
